Distichia are eyelashes growing out of the wrong place and touching the eye. We use cryotherapy which is a freezing technique to permanently damage the hair follicles. One to three treatments are usually needed. Healing takes 2 weeks but we will check the eyes back after 4 weeks to do a final pluck of all the hairs that have not yet worked their way out by the time of treatment.
