Specialised Veterinary Ophthalmology Services for your pet
What to Expect at your Appointment?
We will first discuss the problem and go through the relevant medical history. Your vet will have sent us your pet’s up-to-date clinical history. After that, your pet will have their eyes examined.
We will then discuss with you our findings and what the findings mean. All the options of investigations or treatment will be discussed, including estimates. Our team knows the intricacies of cost-concerns, insurance, elderly pet care and at-risk patients so we can help you make the best decision tailored to your individual circumstances.
An initial appointment will last up to 40 minutes and a follow-up appointment will last up to 20 minutes. Please arrive 5 minutes before your appointment time.
If it is possible that your pet may need surgery on the same day, please do not feed your pet after 7am that morning of the appointment. Most pets will go home the same day after a surgical procedure but sometimes we may need to keep your pet overnight. We are very keen to get pets home as we understand patients are much happier in a familiar environment.
If your pet is insured, please bring your insurance documents with you. Some of the clinics we work with can perform direct claims for surgical procedures. However we always prefer that you pay the clinic directly, and then you will be able to claim back on your insurance.
