Eye right VET Julia harken

Julia is an Advanced Practitioner and certificate holder in Veterinary
Ophthalmology. She qualified as a veterinary surgeon in 2011 and has
worked exclusively as an Ophthalmologist for the last 12 years in Fife. She adores all her canine and feline patients and will always go over and above to save their eyes and improve their lives.
She loves every aspect of Veterinary Ophthalmology but especially
enjoys creating beautiful cosmetic and functional eyelids for animals
with eyelid problems, and giving dogs their sight back with life changing cataract surgery. She prides herself in achieving excellent success rates in cherry eye surgery in particular with a technique she has perfected over the years.
And she is bringing her expertise to Edinburgh City, Stirling, Dunfermline, Dundee, Kirkcaldy, Perth and St Monans.

When she is not at work, she can be found tending to her bees or out doing some adrenaline fuelled activities in the Scottish wilderness.

About: Erick Sanmarti

Erick

Erick holds a GP Certificate in Veterinary Ophthalmology and graduated as a veterinary surgeon from CEU Cardenal Herrera University in Valencia, Spain, in 2020. After qualifying, he moved to the United Kingdom, where he gained valuable experience working in a small animal clinic and later in a hospital in South Wales.

He then had the opportunity to complete a one year specialist internship in Veterinary Ophthalmology in England, further developing his ophthalmology knowledge. Following this, Erick relocated to Scotland, where he worked in a hospital setting before joining the Eye Right Referrals team.

Erick has a strong passion for Veterinary Ophthalmology and is currently working towards achieving Advanced Practitioner status in Ophthalmology. He is deeply committed to improving the quality of life of his patients and providing the highest standard of eye care.

Outside of work, Erick enjoys spending time outdoors, taking part in nature-based activities, and sharing adventures with his dog, Gina. He also loves travelling and discovering new cultures and ways of life.
